The 3rd Victoria Internation Improv Festival is scheduled to run September 28 - 30, 2006. This is an exciting opportunity to come and witness first hand some of the best Improv Theatre in North America and around the world.
Be a part of the team for 2006! We are looking for a volunteer coordinator to help us fill the team.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Locating volunteers.
- Training and scheduling the volunteers.
- Preparing a volunteer orientation session at the start of the Festival.
- Maintaining the volunteer contact list (which should include shirt size assuming the Festival is distributing shirts to the volunteers).
- Following up with volunteers during the run of the Festival to ensure they are available for any slots they signed up for.
- Ensuring volunteers are recognized for their efforts.
The festival will need volunteers for:
- Core team positions.
- Taking tickets.
- Working the concession.
- Selling merchandise.
- Ushering.
